This policy explains how Thali uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work; others are optional and used only with your consent.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on). These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off.

Optional cookies: we don't use any. Thali sets no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
How we measure our website — without cookies
We use first-party, cookieless analytics: when a page loads, the browser sends us the page path and the referring site's domain, which we count in aggregate. We do not set any cookie, and we do not store your IP address, device, or any per-visitor identity — so this collects no personal data. We honour your browser's Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control signal and skip the count entirely if it is set.
Managing your choices
Because Thali uses only a strictly-necessary sign-in cookie and cookieless analytics, there are no optional cookies to accept or reject. You can still block or clear cookies in your browser settings; blocking the necessary cookie will sign you out.
A note for India
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 does not require a cookie-consent banner. We show a short one-time notice as a courtesy so you know exactly what runs on the site — which is: one necessary cookie, and no trackers.
